Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Supports Employment for Youth Who Have Given Up Job Searching

Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 15th that it has been selected for the Ministry of Employment and Labor's 'Youth Challenge Support Project' for two consecutive years, securing 1.04 billion KRW in national funding.


Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Supports Employment for Youth Who Have Given Up Job Searching

This project aims to support job-seeking activities for youth who have given up on job searching and provides customized programs (Challenge, Challenge+) such as intensive counseling, confidence recovery, career exploration, and employment competency enhancement.


Upon completion of the 'Challenge Program,' participants receive a participation allowance of 500,000 KRW, and upon completing the 'Challenge+ Program,' participants receive the allowance plus up to 2.2 million KRW for the mid-term course and up to 3.5 million KRW for the long-term course.


The district plans to support the employment of participating youth by linking with the National Employment Support System, Youth Job Leap Incentive, and other programs after the project ends.


Applications can be submitted through Worknet or by visiting the Gwangsan-gu Youth Challenge Support Center.
