TVING, Launching K-OTT's First Advertising Subscription Plan in March... 5,500 KRW per Month

Tving's Lowest Price Plan 'Basic' 4000 Won Cheaper
1080p Quality, 4 Profiles, 2 Simultaneous Connections
Includes Original Content, LIVE, and Sports Broadcast Viewing

Tving is launching an ad-supported subscription plan (AVOD) priced at 5,500 KRW per month, becoming the first domestic online video service (OTT) provider to offer such a plan.

On the 15th, Tving announced that it will release the ad-supported plan called 'Ad-supported Standard' on the 4th of next month. The monthly subscription fee is 5,500 KRW, which is about 4,000 KRW cheaper than Tving's existing lowest-priced plan, the 'Basic' subscription.


The Ad-supported Standard plan can be used on various devices such as mobile phones, tablets, PCs, and TVs. The video quality is the same 1080p as the existing Standard plan. Up to 4 profiles can be created, and simultaneous streaming is allowed on up to 2 devices.


Users can enjoy the Quick VOD feature, which provides popular channel content quickly, as well as content download functionality. Additionally, Tving original content such as 'Hwanseung Love 3', 'Lee Jae, Soon Dead', 'LTNS', and 'Crime Scene Returns', along with 33 domestic live channels including CJ ENM and JTBC, are available. Various sports broadcasts including baseball, soccer, and UFC can also be accessed.


Tving stated, "Through the launch of an ad-supported plan equipped with rich benefits and features at a reasonable price, we will offer diverse options to customers who love Tving’s unique content."
