Hyosarang Senior Centers Mobile Medical Service... Visiting 50 Senior Centers

Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) is receiving great response for the ‘Hyo Sarang Customized Mobile Medical Service’ conducted for elderly people using senior centers.

According to the county on the 15th, the ‘Hyo Sarang Senior Center Mobile Medical Service,’ which has been operating since February, visits 50 senior centers with low medical accessibility to provide customized medical services to residents. The team consists of the Public Health Center’s Visiting Health Team, Health Promotion Team, Mental Health Team, Dementia Relief Team, and Public Health Doctors.

The medical team visits village senior centers to conduct basic tests such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol, and provides various medical services including health consultations, oral examinations, physical activity programs, dementia screening tests, and depression tests. When individuals with suspected cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are found, they are continuously managed in connection with other health projects to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
