Bitcoin Market Cap Surpasses $1 Trillion... One Coin Reaches $52,000 at Peak

Bitcoin price surpassed $52,000, pushing its market capitalization over $1 trillion (approximately 1,335.5 trillion KRW).

According to cryptocurrency price platform CoinGecko on the 14th (local time), the price of one Bitcoin rose to $52,079 (about 69.55 million KRW) at one point, marking the highest level in 25 months. As of 7 a.m. Korean time, it is trading around $51,700.

Experts believe that buying pressure has continued to flow into the Bitcoin market since the approval of the spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the start of ETF trading.
