Choi Woo-sik and Son Seok-gu's 'Sarinja Onangam' Sees Viewership Surge in Just 3 Days

‘Salinja Onangam’ is a crime chase drama depicting the story of an ordinary man who accidentally starts committing murder and the detective who relentlessly pursues him. Director Lee Chang-hee, who directed the movie ‘Disappearance Night’ and the drama ‘Strangers from Hell,’ uniquely adapts the webtoon of the same name dealing with ‘Crime and Punishment.’ Actors Choi Woo-sik, Son Seok-gu, and Lee Hee-joon also add strength by charmingly portraying characters on the boundary between good and evil.

In the same category during the first week of this month (January 29?February 4), ‘Doctor Slump,’ starring Park Shin-hye and Park Hyung-sik, which led the rankings, dropped to 3rd place (2.2 million views). ‘Sejak, Maehokdoen Jadeul,’ starring Jo Jung-suk and Shin Se-kyung, maintained 6th place (1.4 million views). The top spot was taken by the Chilean crime film ‘Baby Bandito’ (3.3 million views), based on a true story that occurred in Santiago in 2014. In the non-English film category, ‘Hwangya,’ starring Ma Dong-seok, held the top position for three consecutive weeks with 6.1 million views.
