Abley, Korea's Most Used Specialty Mall... 1st Place for 3 Consecutive Years

Last Year Monthly Average Users 6.94 Million
Ranked No.1 in Vertical Commerce Overall
3rd Place in Mobile Shopping Apps After Coupang and 11st Street

Able Corporation's style commerce platform Ablely announced on the 14th that it ranked first last year in app installations and user rankings among major specialized malls (vertical commerce).


With this, Ablely has secured the top spot for three consecutive years, following 2021 and 2022.

According to the '2023 Mobile App Year-End Report' released by WiseApp, Retail, and Goods, an app and retail analysis service, Ablely's average monthly users last year reached 6.94 million, ranking first among all vertical commerce platforms.


In the integrated ranking of general malls and specialized malls under the category of 'mobile shopping apps,' Ablely recorded the third highest number of users, following Coupang and 11st. Ablely's monthly active users (MAU) in December last year were 7.65 million, maintaining the number one position among fashion platforms.


Ablely was the only specialized mall to rank high in user numbers across all age groups, from teenagers to those over 60. The user age distribution for Ablely in December last year was ▲teens 20.4%, ▲20s 30.5%, ▲30s 20.4%, and ▲40s and above 20.9%. It ranked first in user numbers from teens through 40s.


Ablely reported that app usage translated into actual transactions. The monthly transaction amount on Ablely in December last year increased by 25% compared to the same period the previous year. This growth rate is significant compared to the 7.7% increase in online shopping transaction amounts announced by Statistics Korea for the same month.


Ablely explained that the main factors behind this achievement were its artificial intelligence (AI) personalized recommendation technology and the expansion of community features. By strengthening cross-category recommendations in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, it attracted more users. Features such as coordination and community were introduced during the style exploration process, increasing app dwell time and loyalty. Through these services, user satisfaction was enhanced, leading to steady user inflow.
