Suwon City Rents Interview Suits to Job-Seeking Youth... Up to 3 Times Annually

Suwon City has launched the Cheongnarae project, which lends interview suits to young job seekers.

The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is offering free rental of interview suits to young job seekers.

Starting from the 13th, Suwon City announced the launch of the ‘Cheongnarae’ program, which provides free rental of suit jackets and pants, shirts or blouses, and neckties to Suwon residents aged 19 to 34 who are preparing for employment.

Any young person registered as a resident in Suwon City as of the application date and preparing for a job interview can use the service. Rentals are available up to three times a year (each rental lasting 4 days). If the rental limit of three times is exceeded or the budget is exhausted, suits can be rented at a 10% discount off the regular rental price.

Applications can be made through the Suwon Youth Support Center website (http://www.swyouth.kr).

The interview suit rental stores include four locations: ▲ Suit Vine (2nd floor, 31, Gyeongsudaero 994beon-gil, Jangan-gu) ▲ Void Tuxedo & Suit Rental (23, Gwongwang-ro 123beon-gil, Gwonseon-gu) ▲ The Iris (17, Jungbu-daero 170beon-gil, Paldal-gu) ▲ Suit Gallery (108, Edutown-ro, Yeongtong-gu).

A Suwon city official said, "This year, we have added one rental company in Gwonseon-gu to make renting and returning interview suits more convenient," and added, "We will continue to expand the Cheongnarae program to help Suwon youth prepare for employment even a little more."
