Xenia Florence Gabriella Sophie Iris, a German princess, has become the first member of the royal family to shoot an adult pictorial. Xenia is a descendant of Friedrich Augustus III.

Recently, the American media outlet Page Six reported that Princess Xenia appeared on the cover of the March 2024 issue of the global adult magazine "Playboy" on the 7th (local time).

Regarding the reason for shooting the adult pictorial, Xenia explained, "I wanted to show that every woman’s natural self is truly beautiful." She said, "I actually have stretch marks," and added, "Through this pictorial, I want to proudly reveal my stretch marks and convey to people how to love their own bodies." She also explained, "I am satisfied as long as my body is healthy and functioning well," and emphasized, "I don’t want to define how much I love myself by my appearance." She stressed, "There is no need to undergo surgery on your precious body just to please someone or to follow trends."

Xenia had previously appeared on a TV program and confessed, "My body is not that beautiful, but I still did not have surgery."

Some have criticized that it is inappropriate for someone of noble lineage to pose for an adult magazine pictorial. There are also concerns that it could damage the royal family’s image. Upon hearing the news of Xenia’s adult pictorial shoot, Maria Emanuel, Margrave of Meissen, issued a statement to the German newspaper Bild. He condemned it as "a misfortune for a 1,000-year-old family and a terrible mistake."
