Monthly Purchase Limit Increased to a Maximum of 2 Million Won

The monthly purchase limit for Onnuri Gift Certificates, which are sold at a discount of up to 10%, has been increased to a maximum of 2 million KRW, drawing attention.

According to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service on the 9th, the benefits of using the 'Onnuri Gift Certificate,' which can be used at traditional markets and shopping districts, have been enhanced. This is to reduce the burden of preparing for the Lunar New Year holiday table.

Paper Onnuri Gift Certificates are being sold at a 5% discount, while mobile and rechargeable card types, which greatly improve payment convenience, are sold at a 10% discount. Starting this year, the monthly individual discount purchase limit has increased by 500,000 KRW each. Therefore, paper types can be purchased up to 1.5 million KRW, and mobile and rechargeable card types up to 2 million KRW.

Paper gift certificates can be purchased at all branches of 16 banks nationwide. Mobile Onnuri Gift Certificates (Onnuri Pay) and rechargeable card-type Onnuri Gift Certificates can be purchased by downloading the application from the App Store or Play Store. For the mobile type, search for 'Onnuri Pay,' and for the rechargeable card type, search for 'Onnuri Gift Certificate.'

For the rechargeable card type, to purchase gift certificates, users must register their credit card, debit card, or bank account they hold in the mobile app. After that, they can recharge at a 10% discounted price anytime and pay at Onnuri Gift Certificate affiliated stores. Affiliated stores can be found using the map and search functions in the app.

The rechargeable card type also allows gifting Onnuri Gift Certificates to others through the gift function. Both individuals and companies can use this, and corporate purchases are also sold at a 10% discount.
