Former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, who was prosecuted on charges including admission bribery for his children and covering up an inspection, was sentenced to two years in prison in the second trial as well.
The Seoul High Court Criminal Division 13 (Presiding Judges Kim Woo-su, Kim Jin-ha, and Lee In-su) on the afternoon of the 8th sentenced former Minister Cho to two years in prison in the appeal trial on charges including obstruction of business, abuse of authority, and use of false official documents, the same as in the first trial. However, he was not detained in court.
