NH Investment & Securities' Namu Securities announced on the 8th that it will hold a new account opening event for minor customers.
The event will run until the 29th and was organized to reflect the increased liquidity of funds for minor children, such as New Year's money, around the Lunar New Year holiday, as well as the demand from customers for opening new accounts for their children. After applying for the event through the Namu Securities app, participants can join by opening an account for their minor child or by gifting stocks. During the event period, when a new account is opened for a minor, a mobile department store gift certificate worth 10,000 KRW will be given per new account. Additionally, if stocks worth more than 30,000 KRW are sent to the child's account opened through the gifting service, a fractional overseas stock (worth 5,000 KRW) will be paid back after the event ends. For more details, please refer to the Namu Securities event page.
NH Investment & Securities stated that this event was prepared to provide a new investment experience, such as making it easy to give stocks like pocket money and allowing minor children to hold domestic and overseas stocks. A representative from NH Investment & Securities explained, "We will continue to strive to enhance customer satisfaction through various events that provide practical benefits to our customers."
