'Teamwork' and 'Make-A-Wish Korea' Collaboration
Achieving '6,000 Steps a Day' and '30,000 Steps Accumulated'
A walking challenge is underway to help children with incurable diseases fulfill their wishes. It is regarded as a meaningful event that allows participants to support children with incurable diseases while managing their own health through daily walking.
The B2B platform ‘Teamwork’ of the health management application Cashwalk started the ‘Walking Challenge to Fulfill Wishes of Children with Incurable Diseases’ on the 2nd in collaboration with Make-A-Wish Korea.
This walking challenge was planned to promote and encourage participation in Make-A-Wish Korea’s ‘Wish Effect’ campaign. The Wish Effect campaign supports the fulfillment of wishes for children battling pediatric cancers such as leukemia, brain tumors, lymphoma, and other rare incurable diseases.
The walking challenge is divided into ‘6,000 steps per day’ and ‘30,000 cumulative steps.’ Walking 6,000 steps a day rewards participants with up to 10,000 Cash randomly. Upon achieving 30,000 cumulative steps, the first 30,000 participants receive a 1,000 KRW Cashdeal gift certificate. The gift certificates can be used within the Cashwalk app’s Cashdeal section to purchase various daily necessities such as cosmetics, health supplements, and fashion accessories.
Anyone can participate by accessing Teamwork through the Cashwalk app and selecting the challenge. After reaching the target number of steps, the ‘Receive Today’s Cash’ button becomes active, and participants can tap it to receive their cash reward. After completing the challenge, participants must press the ‘Receive Final Reward’ button. As of 4:30 PM on the 7th, the 6th day of the challenge, the number of participants reached 189,500.
Make-A-Wish is an organization that fulfills the wishes of more than 500,000 children with incurable diseases across 39 branches in over 50 countries worldwide.
