Chartered flight to Dubai, UAE
to tour local business sites and encourage employees

According to the business community on the 6th, Chairman Lee departed for Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on a chartered flight through Gimpo Airport in the afternoon.
This move came immediately after he was acquitted in the first trial verdict held at the Seoul Central District Court the previous day. It is known that Chairman Lee plans to use the Lunar New Year holiday period to visit business sites in the Middle East and Southeast Asia and encourage employees.
Since 2014, when he traveled to the United States during the Lunar New Year holiday to discuss cooperation plans with local telecommunications executives, he has devoted himself to on-site management without taking a break during the holiday season for 10 consecutive years. Last Chuseok, he visited and inspected electronics and trading business sites in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Israel. During Chuseok in 2022, he checked Samsung Electronics’ Mexico and Panama subsidiaries to review Latin American operations, and also sent dried yellow corvina fish gift sets to the families of 20 long-term business trip employees from Samsung affiliates who could not return home during the holiday.
