The Lotteria near Guro Digital Complex Station on Subway Line 2 is being transformed into a complex dining venue operated together with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

On the 5th, Lotte GRS announced the official opening of the Lotteria·Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Guro Digital Station branch, where customers can enjoy burgers and doughnuts together. This store underwent a complete renovation for two months starting in December last year. It had a soft opening on the 2nd.

Unlike previous stores, the Lotteria·Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Guro Digital Station branch allows orders by each brand separately and has introduced unmanned kiosks with high contrast and voice guidance functions for the visually impaired and elderly.

Additionally, for Lotteria, they introduced the kitchen automation robot ‘Alpha Grill’ (patty cooking), developed in collaboration with domestic robot kitchen startup Aniai. A Lotte GRS official said, "We expect this to resolve labor shortages and increase customer turnover through cooking efficiency."

In the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts store, to strengthen the ‘HOT-NOW’ concept, a doughnut warmer was installed to serve the signature Original Glazed doughnuts warm to customers.

Along with this, since its first application in 2020, about 30 doughnut vending machines have been installed nationwide in stores and stations, enabling 24-hour doughnut purchases.

A Lotte GRS official stated, “This Guro Digital Station branch is about 100 pyeong in size and is part of a store operation strategy to enhance the efficiency of existing stores,” adding, “We also plan to continuously invest in strengthening sales per store through expanded investments to improve store efficiency and customer service.”
