Surpassing 1.8 Billion Units Sold Since 1984 Release
Launched Inspired by April Fools' SNS Strawberry Bibim Myeon
Paldo is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the launch of Paldo Bibimmyun this year by releasing a limited edition spring version with strawberry soup, limited to 2 million units.
Launched in 1984, Paldo Bibimmyun gained popularity by pioneering a new market of cold mixed noodles without broth. The cumulative sales have reached 1.8 billion units.
The new product is the brand's first limited edition of the year. Paldo introduces seasonal editions every year so that Bibimmyun can be enjoyed all year round. The cumulative sales of limited edition products total 33 million units.
The distinctive feature of the Bibimmyun spring edition is the included strawberry soup (5g). When added during preparation, it adds a fresh strawberry flavor and aroma to the spicy, tangy, and sweet Paldo Bibimmyun. It was inspired by the April Fool’s Day ‘Strawberry Bibimmyun’ that went viral on social media last year.
A special limited edition package design was also applied. The pink color, strawberries, and cherry blossoms evoke a warm spring feeling.

The Bibimmyun spring edition will be available sequentially through online and offline distribution channels.
