Lotte Healthcare announced on the 5th that it has added a ‘Mental Health’ service, where users can receive counseling from professional psychological counselors and coaches, to its daily healthcare platform ‘Cazzle’ and has begun full-scale operation.
Psychological counseling is provided through a service partnership with Mind Cafe. Mind Cafe is a mental health platform offering non-face-to-face professional psychological counseling and an anonymous mental health community. It has secured about 2 million members. In January last year, Lotte Healthcare made a strategic investment of 3 billion KRW in Atomus, the operator of Mind Cafe.
The psychological counseling service can be accessed by clicking ‘Receive Mental Health Counseling’ on the home tab of the Cazzle service. Users can view detailed profiles and reviews of the professional psychological counselors and coaches provided, and select the counselor that suits them. Then, they can set the type and number of counseling sessions, such as text, voice call, or video call, according to their schedule. Payment can be made within Cazzle without installing a separate app, and the ‘Jinju’ points, a rewards service, as well as Lotte Members’ L.Points can be used.
In the future, a ‘Mental Diary’ feature will be introduced for more systematic mental health management. By using this, users will be able to record and manage daily conditions and factors affecting their mood in real time on Cazzle. This is to enable users to check changes in their mental health trends as if reviewing health checkup records. Additionally, simple self-psychological tests such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) tests and depression tests for adults will continue to be updated.
A Lotte Healthcare official said, “Users can now comprehensively manage not only physical health based on health checkup data but also mental health on Cazzle,” adding, “Our goal is to support customers so that they can easily manage the entire health journey from analysis to shopping within the Cazzle platform.”
