It is expected that emergency patients occurring in the Jeonnam region will no longer miss the golden time while seeking hospitals.

According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 4th, the '119 Emergency Smart System' has been operated by all ambulance teams (135 teams) in the province since the 1st.

The introduction of the 119 Emergency Smart System was promoted to improve the outdated emergency system raised in the wake of the Itaewon disaster and the 'Daegu emergency room roundabout' incident.

When emergency medical personnel enter patient information on the M119 Field Support System installed on the terminals used by the 119 ambulance teams at the scene, it is simultaneously transmitted to each medical institution.

Based on this data, considering patient acceptance information and regional transfer guidelines, the system automatically selects the optimal hospital suitable for the patient and notifies the ambulance team.

By sharing the condition of emergency patients with hospital emergency rooms in real time, it is expected that more effective emergency medical transfer services will be provided.

Also, since patient information such as hospital history and presence of underlying diseases can be mutually shared between medical institutions and ambulance teams, it is much easier to track or manage patients in the event of multiple casualties.

With the introduction of this system, it is expected to greatly contribute to improving emergency medical and emergency patient services by enabling faster response in the early stages of disasters.
