It has become easier for Toss users to apply for credit counseling. Within the Toss application, users can consult with credit counseling experts on various topics such as credit management, loans for low-income individuals, and debt adjustment.
Viva Republica, the operator of the mobile financial service Toss, announced on the 2nd that it has signed an agreement on the 'Credit Counseling Linkage Service' with the Credit Recovery Committee. The business agreement ceremony held the day before at Toss headquarters in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was attended by Toss CEO Lee Seung-geon and Credit Recovery Committee Chairman Lee Jae-yeon.

Through this collaboration, Toss users can apply for counseling with professional consultants supported by the Credit Recovery Committee by clicking the 'Consult with a Credit Expert' menu on the credit score inquiry screen within the app.
CEO Lee said, "Since launching the free credit score inquiry service in 2017, Toss has supported users' proactive financial lives," adding, "We plan to continue supporting proactive credit management through the Credit Recovery Committee's professional counseling services."
The cumulative number of users of the 'My Credit Score' service, which allows users to check their credit scores, exceeded 24 million as of last month. This service is provided through cooperation with credit rating agencies NICE Information Service and Korea Credit Bureau (KCB).
