12 Meetings Held Last Year with 217 Participants Covering 21 Redevelopment Zones

Seodaemun-gu to Hold First Redevelopment and Reconstruction Association Progress Meeting of the New Year

Seodaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced that on the 2nd at 2 PM, it will hold the "2024 1st Redevelopment and Reconstruction Maintenance Project Association Progress Meeting" in the 1st conference room on the 4th floor of the district office.

Under the chairmanship of Deputy Mayor Jin Kyung-sik, a maintenance project expert advisory group consisting of university professors, lawyers, architects, and appraisers will attend to conduct diverse and in-depth discussions necessary for policy reflection and decision-making.

The target areas are two locations: the Hong Eun-dong 8-400 area, a rapid integrated planning housing maintenance-type redevelopment project site, and the Cheonyeon-dong 89-16 Moa Town candidate site.

In the previous year when the progress meetings began, a total of 12 sessions were held targeting 21 maintenance project zones, with a total of 217 attendees including association and project stakeholders, public officials, and expert advisory members.

The district listens to the difficulties of associations and project stakeholders through such meetings and strengthens communication channels between the district office and the associations.

It also enhances the completeness of urban maintenance project promotion by providing accurate issue diagnosis, direction setting, and proposing measures and alternatives.

Lee Seongheon, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, said, "This year as well, we will make further efforts so that maintenance projects can resolve conflicts and delays and proceed with speed through consultation and consensus building with associations via progress meetings and sharing of professional knowledge."
