KGC Insamgongsa Donates Red Ginseng Products Worth 200 Million Won to Elderly Living Alone

Red Cross and Health Sharing Project 'Hyo (Filial Piety) Delivery' Campaign
Funds Raised Through 1:1 Matching of Employees and Companies
Providing 'Comprehensive Filial Piety Package' Including Holiday Food and Health Products

KGC Ginseng Corporation announced on the 1st that it is conducting the 'Hyo (孝) Delivery' campaign, a health-sharing project for elderly people living alone in collaboration with the Korean Red Cross, and will donate KGC products worth 200 million KRW.


The Hyo (孝) Delivery campaign uses funds from the 'Jung Kwan Jang Fund,' where the company matches the amount collected by employees on a 1:1 basis, combined with donations from netizens through Naver Happy Bean. These funds are used to prepare health products and holiday foods such as rice cake soup, dumplings, and fruit snacks for elderly people living alone in the lower-income bracket who are in welfare blind spots.

KGC Ginseng Corporation will additionally provide red ginseng products worth 200 million KRW. The 'Comprehensive Filial Piety Package,' which includes Jung Kwan Jang products, health supplies, and three types of holiday foods, is scheduled to be delivered regionally by the 8th.


A KGC Ginseng Corporation official stated, "We will continue to practice 'Creating a Healthier World' by sharing with our neighbors through various win-win collaborations and social contribution activities."
