Expecting Continued Spread of Love Sharing
Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, celebrated the traditional Korean holiday Seollal by visiting social welfare facilities and veterans' organizations within the county to share warm feelings.
According to the county, Jin Byeong-yeong, the county governor, began his visits on January 31 at the Veterans Hall and continued to visit 12 social welfare facilities in the area, including Hamyang Mental Care Center, delivering holiday gifts such as fruit and beef.
During the visit, Governor Jin handed over the gifts to facility staff and residents, listened to their difficulties, and offered words of encouragement.
Governor Jin said, “I deeply appreciate the social welfare facility staff and workers who quietly strive on the front lines of welfare despite difficult circumstances. The administration will also do its best to ensure that everyone can have a warm holiday through the community’s interest and sharing for marginalized neighbors.”
