Support for Childcare Products for Newborn Families in Seosaengmyeon

On the 31st, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters delivered childbirth celebration supplies to families with newborns residing in Seosaeng-myeon at the Seosaeng-myeon Administrative Welfare Center.

Saewool Nuclear Power Plant provided childcare products to families with newborns residing in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju.

This support project, organized by the Seosaeng-myeon Youth Association and sponsored by Saewool Nuclear Power, provided childbirth celebration supplies to 23 residents of Seosaeng-myeon who registered births in 2023. The celebration supplies consisted of childcare necessities such as strollers and baby carriers, totaling approximately 15 million KRW in value.

Lee Cheon-ho, president of the Seosaeng-myeon Youth Association, said, “This aligns with the government’s childbirth encouragement policy and helps reduce the economic burden on families with newborns, which has been well received by local residents. I hope this project continues in the future.”

Soh Yoo-seop, head of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, “I hope this contributes even a little to spreading a childbirth-friendly atmosphere and resolving the low birthrate issue. We will identify projects needed by local residents to help improve their welfare.”

Saewool Nuclear Power plans to continue implementing various support projects to provide practical assistance for local residents’ welfare and regional economic revitalization.
