Lotte Chilsung Beverage is launching a canned version of the beer ‘KRUSH.’ KRUSH, introduced last November targeting young consumers seeking novelty, is characterized by its refreshing and crisp taste achieved through separately extracted European hops and the hop bursting technique. According to the company, its popularity is expanding mainly among young consumers in their early to mid-20s. The new KRUSH canned products, to be released in February, will come in three sizes: 355ml, 470ml, and 500ml, and will be available through distribution channels such as large supermarkets and convenience stores.

CJ CheilJedang has launched 'Haechandle Low-Sodium Homemade Doenjang' and 'Bibigo Low-Sodium Beef Bone Soup.' Haechandle Low-Sodium Homemade Doenjang is a wellness soybean paste product following the 'Woori Glutinous Rice Sun-Dried Red Pepper Paste' released last November. To reduce sodium while maintaining the same taste quality as traditional doenjang, Andes salt and a unique ‘NFT fermentation method’ were applied. The newly launched 'Bibigo Low-Sodium Beef Bone Soup' reduces sodium content while preserving the deep beef bone flavor. This product contains 500mg of sodium per 500g pack, about 50% less than the existing Bibigo beef bone soup. At the same time, the concentration of beef bone extract was increased by 15% compared to the previous product, and Korean beef bone extract was added to enhance the umami of the beef bone broth.

Emart24 sells 'Valuable Holiday Lunchbox' for Lunar New Year

Convenience store Emart24 is selling the 'Valuable Holiday Lunchbox' for the Lunar New Year. The lunchbox includes nine side dishes typical of holiday meals: japchae, grilled pork, three types of jeon (seafood meatballs, five-color assorted jeon, kimchi jeon), stir-fried bellflower root, stir-fried bracken, seasoned spinach, and stir-fried kimchi. To differentiate the rice quality, a new rice variety called ‘Miho Rice’ was used. Miho Rice is a newly developed variety suitable for ready meals and convenience store lunchboxes, characterized by maintaining appropriate moisture and stickiness even after refrigerated or frozen storage and reheating in a microwave. A small packet of sesame oil is included with the japchae for a nutty aroma. The grilled pork is thickly sliced and cooked with galbi marinade.

Uniqlo will launch the 'Fighting Game Legends UT' collection next month, inspired by the Daejeon fighting games 'Street Fighter' and 'TEKKEN.' This collection consists of six T-shirts, including three designs from Street Fighter and three from TEKKEN. It offers a diverse lineup featuring designs from the most popular and latest titles in each series. The 'Fighting Game Legends UT Collection' will be available nationwide at Uniqlo stores and online from February 5.
