Famous YouTuber with 1.28 Million Subscribers
Directly Refutes Controversies Surrounding Them
Eun Hyeon-jang (40), known as 'Jangsa-ui Sin,' a business content YouTuber with 1.28 million subscribers, announced that he will stop broadcasting. He said he would first focus on legal action against malicious commenters and then "return once it is proven that I have become clean."
On the 29th, Eun said on his YouTube channel 'Jangsa-ui Sin' live broadcast, "I want to thank those who have trusted and loved me so far, and I am also very sorry," expressing his intention.
'Jangsa-ui Sin,' operated by Eun, is content that provides 'free consulting' to small business owners in the food service industry facing closure. Eun is known as the person who invested 30 million won in capital to start a chicken franchise and sold it for 20 billion won. He has been offering management advice to small business owners based on his entrepreneurial experience.
His story was also published in an autobiography titled 'I am Jangsa-ui Sin.' Eun once said on a broadcast, "I set a goal to earn 20 billion won by the age of 43, but I achieved that dream at 36. So, I decided to spend the remaining seven years helping people," explaining the reason for filming free consulting content. After surpassing 1 million cumulative subscribers, he has gained public recognition by appearing not only on YouTube but also on entertainment shows.
However, recently, some netizens have raised doubts about Eun's success story. They claimed that the actual sale price of the chicken franchise Eun operated was much less than the amount he mentioned. In response, Eun explained through a YouTube broadcast that "the 20 billion won sale price was not received all at once" and even disclosed related deposit documents.
Despite this, as the controversy continued, he sharply criticized on the broadcast on the 29th, saying, "No matter how much I prove and explain, it doesn't work. I even posted certification that I received the company sale price, but they don't believe it. Even if I post a screenshot from the business owner’s Hometax, they don't believe it," adding, "You just dislike me and enjoy stirring up trouble." He then retorted, "You say bring evidence, then that’s fine." He emphasized, "Starting tomorrow, I will put everything aside and go after the malicious commenters. You will see whether what I say is true or false. From today on, I will no longer film YouTube videos and will quickly wrap up my appearance on Channel A's 'Seomin Gapbu'."
