Following a Surplus Turnaround in 2022... Significant Improvement for Two Consecutive Years
Fashion Group Hyungji announced on the 29th that it recorded an operating profit of 30 billion KRW last year, marking a 145% increase compared to the previous year.
Hyungji operates women's casual brands such as Crocodile Lady, Chatren, and Olivia Hassler. In 2022, Hyungji turned profitable by increasing its operating profit by 50.4 billion KRW compared to 2021, showing a significant improvement in profitability for two consecutive years.
Regarding this, Hyungji evaluated that profit-centered management and on-site management carried out company-wide were effective. They increased sales relative to input through efficient production, and created synergy with efficient production through customized allocation and product movement management for each store. Additionally, management based on data such as profit improvement through increased sales, sales rate, price rate, production multiplier, and cost rate contributed to raising operating profit.
This year, they plan to continue this management policy. Starting this month, they will implement the ‘Champion Shop Project’ to discover star stores nationwide, aiming to support and grow together with the stores. Junho Choi, Vice Chairman of Fashion Group Hyungji, said, “We will pursue quantitative growth along with qualitative growth and continue to grow sustainably with stores nationwide.”
