Pohang Housing Market Revitalized... 'Hillstate The Sharp Sangsaeng Park' Attracts Attention

As the Pohang housing market turns upward, "Hillstate The Sharp Sangsaeng Park" is set to be launched in the central living area of Nam-gu, Pohang, which is highly preferred for residential purposes.

According to the Korea Real Estate Board's "National Housing Price Trend Survey," the apartment sales price index in Pohang stands at 97.55, showing a continuous rise for four months since turning upward in August last year through November. By region, the upward trend is stronger in Nam-gu than in Buk-gu. As of November 2023, the apartment sales price index in Nam-gu was 98.98, a 0.21% increase from 98.71 the previous month.

In fact, according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's actual transaction data, an 84㎡ unit in "Hyoja Poonglim I-One" located in Hyoja-dong, Nam-gu, Pohang, was traded for 430 million KRW last month, which is 60 million KRW higher than the 370 million KRW price in August last year.

Amid this atmosphere, "Hillstate The Sharp Sangsaeng Park" opened its model house on the 26th. As a large construction company brand apartment in Gyeongbuk Pohang, it also possesses rarity, attracting continuous interest from buyers.

According to Statistics Korea, as of the end of December 2023, the population of Pohang was 493,033. This is the largest population among the 22 cities and counties in Gyeongbuk and accounts for 19.3% of the total Gyeongbuk population of 2,554,324.

Nevertheless, despite Pohang's reputation as the No.1 city in Gyeongbuk, the supply of large construction company brand apartments has not been abundant. In particular, Nam-gu, where Pohang City Hall is located, has mostly seen supply in peripheral areas such as Ocheon-eup, Guryongpo-eup, and Donghae-myeon, which has left buyers somewhat disappointed.

In this context, "Hillstate The Sharp Sangsaeng Park" is expected to attract significant attention as it is the first large construction company brand apartment supplied in the central living area of Nam-gu in about eight years since "Pohang Xi" in December 2015.
