Ulsan Ulju-gun will accept nominations for the Ulju-gun Citizen Award candidates for one month until the 26th of next month.
Established in 1984, the Ulju-gun Citizen Award is the most prestigious award in Ulju-gun, which has a long history and tradition. Since the selection of the first recipient, 84 people have been honored with the award to date.
Nominations are accepted in four categories: regional development, education/culture/sports, filial piety, and social service. One person with outstanding achievements in each category will be selected and awarded.
Eligibility for the award includes those who, as of the recommendation date, have ▲resided and registered as residents in Ulju-gun for more than three years ▲worked at a workplace in Ulju-gun for more than three years ▲or are expatriates with their registered domicile in the county.
Nominations can be made by eup/myeon heads or heads of various institutions and organizations, and the final recipients will be decided through deliberation by the Ulju-gun Citizen Award Screening Committee.
The 33rd Ulju-gun Citizen Award will be presented at the Ulju-gun Citizen's Day commemorative event in April.
Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Ulju-gun website or obtained from the General Affairs Team at the eup/myeon Administrative Welfare Centers.
