Barbitok Participates in Daemihoe Regular Academic Conference... "Strengthening Position as Korea's No.1 Beauty Information Platform"

Carelabs subsidiary Babitok, a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 26th that it participated in the regular academic conference of the Korean Society of Clinical Aesthetic Medicine for the first time since its establishment.


Since 2014, the regular academic conference hosted by the Korean Society of Clinical Aesthetic Medicine was held this year at COEX in Seoul on the largest scale ever. With doctors, hospitals, and beauty-related companies from across the country attending, the event provided a platform to predict and discuss the New Year’s trends in aesthetic medicine under the theme “Medical Aesthetic Trend 2024.”


Various industry professionals visited the exhibition booth operated by Babitok at the event. The number of booth visitors exceeded 500 over 8 hours on the day. Approximately 400 visitors were from the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions, and about 100 were from other regions. Babitok took the opportunity to explain its competitive edge to stakeholders from all over the country.


The company explained that the Babitok platform attracted great interest in terms of service competitiveness. Medical professionals such as dermatologists showed interest in joining the Babitok platform, while manufacturers of beauty-related devices inquired extensively about Babitok’s services that provide information on plastic surgery and skin procedures.


A Babitok representative said, “The regular academic conference of the Korean Society of Clinical Aesthetic Medicine, now in its 10th year, is the largest and most prestigious aesthetic medicine event in Korea, attended by dermatologists, hospitals, and beauty industry professionals nationwide. After the event, inquiries about joining Babitok have been received, demonstrating tangible business expansion results. It was a great opportunity to promote Babitok’s position as the number one platform in the domestic industry and to communicate with industry stakeholders.”


Babitok is a platform that has secured the number one position among domestic beauty information apps, surpassing 7 million cumulative downloads. Last year, it launched Babitok 2.0, which focuses on separating the skin procedure sector, enhancing user-centered convenience, and continuously striving to strengthen transparent information provision functions.
