Issuance of 'Gwangjin Sarang Gift Certificates · Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates' for Seollal Holiday

Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will issue 'Gwangjin Love Gift Certificates' worth 4 billion KRW and 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates' worth 300 million KRW to celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday.

First, the 'Gwangjin Love Gift Certificates' will be issued starting at 10 a.m. on the 31st of this month. They are issued in units of 10,000 KRW, with a 5% discount applied, and can be purchased up to 500,000 KRW per month. The gift certificates can be used at about 9,000 affiliated stores within the district, and the validity period is 5 years from the date of purchase.

Also, starting at 11 a.m. on February 1st, the 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates' will be issued.

The 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates,' which can be purchased at a 15% discount, can be used on the Gwangjin-type public delivery app 「Ttaenggyeoyo」. They can be purchased up to 200,000 KRW per month, and the validity period is 1 year from the date of purchase.

In March 2022, the district office issued the nation's first public delivery app-exclusive gift certificates to revitalize the local commercial district. This initiative has been well received so far by reducing young people's meal expenses and lowering delivery brokerage fees and advertising costs for small business owners.

The 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates' are scheduled to be issued regularly on the 1st of every month, and faster issuance notifications can be received through the KakaoTalk 'Gwangjin-gu Office' channel.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "With the issuance of these gift certificates, we hope to increase sales for small business owners and reduce household expenditure burdens for residents, allowing everyone to enjoy a warm and abundant Lunar New Year holiday." He added, "Gwangjin-gu will continue to do its best to revitalize the local commercial district."

Meanwhile, the 'Gwangjin Love Gift Certificates' and 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates' can be purchased through five apps: ▲ Seoul Pay Plus (Seoulpay+) ▲ Shinhan Sol Pay ▲ T-money Pay ▲ Moneytree ▲ Shinhan Sol Bank.
