Recruiting SNS Supporters for 'Republic of Korea Reading Festival Pohang' Promotion

Applications accepted until February 12, activities from March to October... Kick-off ceremony held at the end of February

Content creation, event participation, and payment of manuscript fees to supporters providing materials

Pohang City is recruiting SNS supporters to participate in the ‘2024 Korea Reading Festival Pohang’.

The recruitment target includes domestic residents, both Korean and foreign nationals, who have interest and passion for the Korea Reading Festival and actively operate SNS platforms such as blogs, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

Approximately 15 supporters will be selected, including about 10 for blogs, Facebook, and Instagram, and about 5 for YouTube. If no suitable candidates are found, selections may not be made.

The application deadline is February 12, and applicants can submit their forms via email by referring to the form posted on the Pohang City Library website. Results will be notified individually, and the launching ceremony is scheduled for the end of February.

Korea Reading Festival supporters will be active from March to October, creating promotional content for the annual and main events and participating in related activities. Supporters who provide promotional materials will receive a modest manuscript fee.

The director of Pohang City Library said, “We want to work with passionate supporters who will promote and lead the 2024 Korea Reading Festival Pohang, the first to be held in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area. We ask for your great interest and applications.”

The Korea Reading Festival is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, co-organized by municipalities selected as ‘Book Cities’ and the Korea Publication Industry Promotion Agency. This year, Pohang City has been selected and will hold the ‘2024 Korea Reading Festival Pohang’ for three days at the end of September throughout Pohang City.
