[Special Stock] Mediazen Expected to Launch Apple AI Smartphone... Spotlight on Collaboration with 'Siri' Developer↑

Mediazen is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as Mediazen, a partner of Nuance, the developer of Siri, gaining attention amid expectations that Apple will soon enter the smartphone competition equipped with generative artificial intelligence (AI).

As of 9:26 AM on the 25th, Mediazen is trading at 19,390 KRW, up 6.83% compared to the previous day.

According to foreign media, Morgan Stanley analysts expect that the iOS 18 operating system, which Apple is likely to unveil in June, will have enhanced support for generative AI. This is also expected to include Siri, the LLM-based AI voice assistant.

Since 2017, Apple has acquired 21 AI startups. Nearly half of the recent AI job postings by Apple include the term deep learning, which is related to the algorithms that run generative AI. Accordingly, the industry anticipates that Apple will soon enter the smartphone race armed with generative AI capabilities.

Meanwhile, Mediazen is known to have a partnership with the US-based Nuance, which participated in the development of Apple’s AI voice recognition technology, Siri. Through its partnership contract with Nuance, Mediazen supplies voice recognition solutions to most domestic and export models of Hyundai and Kia vehicles. It is also reported that Mediazen plans to promote a project to apply multilingual application technology supporting more than 20 languages to overseas automotive OEMs in the future.
