Hanwha Investment & Securities announced on the 24th that its operating profit last year increased by 80.11% year-on-year to 61.97 billion KRW, and net profit turned positive to 32.76 billion KRW compared to the previous year. During the same period, sales decreased by 6.7% year-on-year to 1.972 trillion KRW.
Hanwha Investment & Securities explained that revenue increased in areas such as the trading division due to the rise in stock market trading volume and the slowdown in the upward trend of interest rates.
A representative from Hanwha Investment & Securities stated, "This year, the company will enhance its responsiveness to changing market conditions while strengthening risk management," adding, "We also plan to expand partnership sales channels and global business areas."
