Bitsrosis Starts Indonesian Broadband Project... "Expecting Additional Orders"

Bitsrosis has officially launched its internet broadband business in Indonesia.

Global smart city solution company Bitsrosis (CEO Ki-jae Lee) announced on the 24th that it has started construction on the 14.3 billion KRW FTTH (Fiber To The Home) internet broadband wired project in Indonesia, which it successfully secured at the end of last year.

Bitsrosis is establishing about 10 home bases on Java Island, Bali Island, and Lombok Island in Indonesia, and plans to expand to 25 bases to accelerate the project completion timeline. Although the company initially expected revenue generation in April, it quickly formed construction teams and base camps, began construction in January, and revenue has started immediately.

A company representative said, “We are currently conducting broadband projects with local companies ZTE and MNC, and are pursuing additional contracts with about 10 broadband operators. The broadband market in Indonesia has only progressed about 12% of the total local market, and with over 5 million new subscribers annually, we expect our business to grow further.”

The company is also discussing contracts to carry out some plant construction projects in the Cilegon and Bandung areas through meetings with multiple plant companies in Indonesia. A company representative explained, “We expect to complete early the 14.3 billion KRW broadband project and secure additional contracts worth about 30 billion KRW. Some plant construction projects are also expected to proceed at a scale of around 50 billion KRW.”

Meanwhile, Bitsrosis has already announced successful entry into overseas markets by acquiring Sangrim ENG and HLB Elec, and carrying out projects such as the Bangladesh Chadogram project and Dhaka Airport project.
