The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that a heavy snow warning will be issued for the eastern part of Jeju Island starting at 6:30 PM on the 23rd.

A heavy snow warning is issued when snowfall is expected to accumulate 20 cm or more within 24 hours. Caution is advised for traffic congestion and damage to facilities.

Heavy snow warnings are currently in effect for the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, the mid-mountain regions of southern Jeju Island, and the mid-mountain regions of northern Jeju Island.
