Exchange Selects Mirae Asset Securities as Best IB for KOSDAQ and KONEX

The Korea Exchange announced on the 23rd that it selected Mirae Asset Securities as the Best IB for KOSDAQ and KONEX in 2023, Samsung Securities as the Excellent IB for KOSDAQ, and IBK Investment & Securities as the Excellent IB for KONEX, and held an awards ceremony.

The Exchange conducts awards for excellent IBs in charge of initial public offering (IPO) underwriting to promote listings on the KOSDAQ and KONEX markets. The excellent IBs are selected comprehensively considering market contribution such as listing performance on the KOSDAQ and KONEX markets and the appropriateness of IB operations.

Chairman Sohn Byung-doo evaluated, "Despite difficult market conditions, promising companies with high growth potential have been discovered thanks to the efforts of underwriting institutions," and added, "The Exchange will operate a listing system friendly to innovative companies while strengthening the function to screen out insolvent companies to maintain a balance between listing activation and investor protection."
