After the race, Chow Yun-fat said, "I am happy to see many elderly people running together with me," and added, "I want to encourage many Hong Kong people to participate in exercise (marathon)."

He also expressed his aspiration to become Hong Kong's 'Forrest Gump.' Chow Yun-fat said, "I want to run around the world," and "Considering this is my second prime after turning 60, I am only 9 years old now. Next year, I will work harder to shorten my record to 2 hours and 15 minutes."

It is reported that Chow Yun-fat regularly exercises such as jogging. When he visited the Busan International Film Festival last October, he attracted attention by showing jogging. When fake news spread last July that he fell into a coma after being infected with COVID-19, he emphasized, "This happens so often that I don't pay much attention," and "I am jogging regularly and plan to participate in a marathon in China later. I am that healthy."

Meanwhile, Chow Yun-fat was a representative figure of the golden age of Hong Kong cinema from the 1980s to the 1990s. In the 2000s, he entered Hollywood and became known worldwide. In 2018, he surprised those around him by announcing that he would donate his entire fortune, which was estimated at 810 billion won at the time, after his death. He explained the reason for the donation, saying, "Anyway, that money is something I only have temporarily, and even if I deposit it in the bank right now, it will be useless after I die." He added, "Two bowls of white rice for lunch and dinner a day are enough."
