Anyang-si, Recruiting 15 People Including Delinquent Tax Surveyors Delinquent Taxpayer Investigation Team of Anyang City

Anyang City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 15 field surveyors and telephone counselors to respond to increasing financial demands and conduct tailored collection activities for delinquent taxpayers.

The field surveyors and telephone counselors will work from March to September this year, for seven months, to inform delinquent taxpayers of their arrears through surveys or phone consultations, and support livelihood-type delinquent taxpayers to recover by linking them to welfare services.

Applicants must be Anyang citizens aged 18 or older as of the announcement date (January 22). Applications will be accepted from the 29th to the 31st of this month and can be submitted via the city hall website or by visiting in person.

Anyang City will announce the final successful candidates at the end of next month after document screening and interviews.

Last year, Anyang City achieved the collection of nearly 1.4 billion KRW in arrears, including 870 million KRW in local taxes and 520 million KRW in non-tax revenues.

Additionally, the city identified 11 livelihood-type delinquent taxpayers in welfare blind spots and linked them to customized welfare services.

An Anyang City official stated, "We hope many citizens will show interest and participate in the delinquent taxpayer field survey team project, which aims not only to collect arrears but also to connect citizens in welfare blind spots with welfare and job opportunities."
