Galaxia Moneytree's 'Moneytree Card' Monthly Recharge Amount Surpasses 10 Billion Won

Galaxia Moneytree announced on the 22nd that its prepaid 'Moneytree Card' with mobile payment functionality has surpassed 10 billion KRW in monthly recharge amounts.

The Moneytree Card is a prepaid card that anyone aged 14 or older can apply for and receive through the simple payment platform 'Moneytree' app. Notably, there are no annual or issuance fees, and the issued card can be easily recharged by registering it in the app.

To celebrate the Moneytree Card surpassing 10 billion KRW in monthly recharge amounts, Galaxia Moneytree is conducting various events. First, users who issue the card and register it in the app for the first time will receive 2,000 KRW, and those who set up monthly auto-recharge for the first time will receive up to 10,000 KRW depending on the recharge amount.

Additionally, consumers who make payments of 10,000 KRW or more using Moneytree Cash will be eligible for the 'Money Box,' where they can win up to 50,000 KRW. Also, when purchasing department store gift certificates using the Moneytree Card within the Moneytree app, users can earn up to an additional 10,000 KRW depending on the gift certificate amount.

A Galaxia Moneytree representative stated, “Since its launch, the prepaid recharge amount for the Moneytree Card has been rapidly increasing. The mobile payment method, which was previously only available online, can now be used offline as well, contributing to the growth of mobile payment sales.”

They added, “Next month, we plan to add Happy Money gift certificates as a recharge option for Moneytree Cash, gradually expanding the options available to consumers.”
