'Youth Entrepreneurs' House' Recruiting Customized Public Rental Housing with Low Deposit and Rent to Solve Startup Space and Housing Issues for Young Entrepreneurs Until the 31st
Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is recruiting tenants for the customized public rental housing "House for Young Entrepreneurs" to nurture young entrepreneurs and establish a foundation for startup growth until the 31st of this month.
The "House for Young Entrepreneurs" is a customized public rental housing provided at low deposit and rent to solve the startup space and housing problems of young entrepreneurs. It is a collaborative project between Eunpyeong-gu and Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH).
This recruitment targets four studio-type units with an exclusive area of 27 to 29㎡. Currently, there are a total of 32 units of youth housing operating in Sinsa-dong, with 14 units in the first branch and 18 units in the second branch.
Applicants must be young people aged 19 to 39 as of the announcement date on the 16th, residing in Seoul with an address, members of a household without a home consisting of three or fewer people, and have an income below 70% of the previous year's average urban worker income.
Additionally, applicants must meet one of the following: a one-person (preliminary) creative enterprise or a one-person (preliminary) young entrepreneur under the Act on the Promotion of One-Person Creative Enterprises. However, only businesses that can register their business at the address of the House for Young Entrepreneurs are eligible, and those currently employed as workers at other workplaces as of the announcement date are excluded.
Applicants can download the application form from the Eunpyeong-gu Office website's notices and announcements section, fill it out, and submit it via email to the person in charge. Tenants can live for the first two years and may extend up to 10 years if qualifications are met.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, "The House for Young Entrepreneurs is a space where you can catch two rabbits, housing and startups," and added, "We hope for active interest and participation from young people."
