According to industry sources on the 21st, Goldwater Korea and Dongil acquired the Stats Guam Golf Resort owned by the Japanese Stats Group and began operations on the 11th. The resort's name was also changed to 'Fineast Guam Golf & Resort.'

Goldwater Korea is the developer of the residential brand 'Atherton Upper House Haeundae.' It is also known as an investor in the Jeju international school 'Fulton Science Academy Atherton.' Dongil is recently mentioned as a potential acquirer of Air Busan.

Guam is relatively close, with a flight time of 4 hours from Korea, but unlike Saipan, all five golf courses were owned by Japanese companies, resulting in limited marketing or promotions targeting Koreans. However, this acquisition is expected to elevate Guam as a new golf tour destination.

Fineast Guam Golf & Resort is located 20 minutes from Guam's A.B. Won Pat International Airport. It features a 27-hole standard tournament course, a 62-room hotel, a natural grass practice range, swimming pool, tennis courts, and other facilities.

The golf course was designed by Johei Miyazawa, who also designed Anyang CC, Jungbu CC, and Tongdo Fineast CC in Korea. According to Goldwater Korea, it is a rare flat course in Korea, with excellent bunker shaping and outstanding landscaping utilization.

A Goldwater Korea representative said, "With the acquisition of the Guam golf course as a starting point, we will establish Goldwater Pacific, a golf course total service company that provides all services related to golf courses including overseas golf course mergers and acquisitions (M&A), development, operation, and memberships, and seek to expand into additional overseas golf course businesses."
