Support for Various Care Services Including Foreign Language Learning and Snacks
Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk, is recruiting children to use the Yeongdeok Maeul Dolbomteo to eliminate blind spots in elementary school care.
The recruitment target is 18 elementary school students aged 6 to 12 residing in the area, and any child in need of care can apply regardless of their parents' income level.
The operating hours are from 2 PM to 7 PM during the school term, and from 9 AM to 6 PM during vacations. Various programs such as reading and homework guidance, foreign language learning, and snack provision are offered during operation.
The usage period of Yeongdeok Maeul Dolbomteo is one year, and new children are recruited every year.
Families wishing to use the service can apply from the 5th to the 7th of next month at Yeongdeok Woojin Central Heim, Building 102, Unit 101, where Yeongdeok Maeul Dolbomteo is located. Recruitment will be decided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Choi Dae-hwan, Head of Family Support Division, said, “We will provide customized care services for local children and create a safe public care environment to make Yeongdeok a great place to raise children.”
