Habit Factory Launches Car Insurance Comparison and Recommendation Service

Partnership of 7 Non-Life Insurers Including Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance

Habit Factory, a fintech company based on MyData, launched its car insurance comparison and recommendation service on its application 'Signal Planner' on the 19th. By using the insurance comparison and recommendation service, users can compare car insurance products from multiple insurance companies and be connected to the insurance company's website where contracts can be made.

This service automatically retrieves detailed information including the vehicle's year and model when the vehicle number is entered. Users can select discount special contracts that fit their lifestyle, such as driver range and expected mileage. Based on the entered information, the final insurance premium and estimated mileage refund amount are displayed.

The company categorized coverage selection options into three types: ▲Basic ▲Value ▲Premium. Previously, many users struggled with how much coverage to set. To resolve this difficulty, the number of choices was reduced and adjustments are allowed only for customers who want it. The service usage process was also simplified as much as possible to enhance convenience.

Habit Factory has partnered with seven companies including Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, KB Insurance, DB Insurance, Carrot General Insurance, Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance, and Heungkuk Life Insurance. They plan to continuously expand to allow consumers to compare products from more insurance companies.
