[Featured Stock] Interflex Secures Samsung's 'Absolute Ring'... Powerful 'NEW' Emerges

Interflex is showing strong performance. Securities firms' analysis that Samsung Electronics' MX division will benefit as it expands from focusing on mobile phones to healthcare (Galaxy Ring) and meta (XR devices) sectors seems to be influencing the stock price.

As of 10:05 AM on the 19th, Interflex is trading at 14,730 KRW, up 25.45% from the previous day.

On the 17th (local time), Samsung Electronics held 'Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024' at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, USA, and announced the upcoming release of the Galaxy Ring. Matthew Wiggins, head of Samsung Research America Health Solution Lab, revealed the 'Galaxy Ring' as a surprise, stating, "We will take the potential of Samsung Health to another level. We are developing the most powerful and accessible health and wellness product."

Park Kang-ho, a researcher at Daishin Securities, explained, "Samsung Electronics is expected to launch new hardware devices in the second half of this year," adding, "They unveiled the smart ring-type wearable 'Galaxy Ring' the day before and are expected to release it in the second half of this year."

He said, "The Galaxy Ring measures and monitors various physical information such as health and sleep," and added, "It is evaluated as a new device in terms of expanding connectivity with smartphones and expanding the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem."

He expressed expectations, saying, "Interflex is highly likely to supply the main board in the form of R/F PCB," and "Since the average supply price is high, it will contribute to performance improvement in the second half of this year and next year."

Furthermore, he analyzed, "Samsung Electronics is estimated to release new XR devices in the second half of this year to expand the lineup of mobile devices and ecosystem," and "Next-generation XR devices will expand into new mobility devices linked with smartphones rather than simple games." He predicted, "In the long term, after application in medical and industrial fields, it is expected to play a central role in the meta environment," and "Interflex will supply multilayer R/F PCBs."

Researcher Park explained, "With the application of on-device AI such as Google's Circle to Search and generative editing, new features of Galaxy S24 will increase the sales proportion of the high-end Ultra model." He added, "The Ultra model equipped with the S Pen is advantageous in utilizing the Circle to Search function," and "By drawing a circle with the S Pen, users can check search results, and during the AI-assisted photo editing and correction process, using the S Pen allows easy access and expanded utilization."

Researcher Park said, "Samsung Electronics is preparing to launch new devices such as the Galaxy Ring and XR devices," and "As Interflex supplies R/F PCBs, it is expected that the corporate value will be re-evaluated due to increased sales related to healthcare and meta sectors beyond mobile phones."
