DB Insurance Accelerates Digital Transformation... Automation of 130 Tasks

DB Insurance Accelerates Digital Transformation... Automation of 130 Tasks DB Insurance Headquarters.

DB Insurance announced on the 18th that since introducing the business automation system 'RPA' (Robotics Process Automation) in 2019, it has automated 130 tasks, increasing productivity and creating new value.

RPA is a system that automatically performs tasks by mimicking human work through software robots. It is mainly used for simple and repetitive tasks. DB Insurance applied RPA beyond its limitations to tasks that create high added value.

Marketing reports based on long-term insurance subscription information in the industry are automatically produced by RPA and regularly provided to the sales organization. This improved productivity through customer-tailored consulting. Previously, the sales organization had to go through multiple steps to complete these tasks, but now they are automated by RPA.

RPA was integrated not only with existing business systems but also with the latest digital technologies. RPA controls the 'PDS' (Progressive Dialing System), which can automatically make ARS calls, establishing a new process for managing overdue insurance payments. Through this, DB Insurance achieved results in customer contract management satisfaction, such as improving the completion rate of premium payments.

DB Insurance is continuously promoting services to discover new growth engines and improve customer satisfaction through company-wide digital innovation management, not just RPA. In December last year, it received the Presidential Citation in the Digital Transformation category at the 49th National Quality Management Competition's National Quality Innovation Award.

A DB Insurance official said, “Through various attempts, we are utilizing RPA not only for simple repetitive tasks but also as a useful tool to create new value. Going forward, we will accelerate business automation by integrating RPA with various new technologies such as ChatGPT, generative AI, and open API.”
