Hanwha Life Insurance Obtains 'Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System Certification'

On the morning of the 17th, Hanwha Life received the ISMS-P certification at the award ceremony held at the 63 Building in Seoul.

Hanwha Life announced on the 17th that it has obtained the 'Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P)' certification from the Financial Security Institute.

The ISMS-P certification system is an integrated certification system for information security and personal information protection in South Korea. It is jointly overseen by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission.

To obtain the ISMS-P certification, an organization must pass a rigorous audit conducted by the Financial Security Institute based on 80 certification criteria in the information security management system area and 21 certification criteria in the personal information protection area.

Hanwha Life received the certification by being highly evaluated for the stability and reliability of its customer homepage (website and mobile) and Hanwha Life Direct insurance. It established a management system through its own specialized personnel, enhancing management efficiency. This indicates that it possesses excellent information security personnel.

Lee Chang-hee, Head of the COE Division at Hanwha Life, stated, “Through obtaining this certification, we have been able to prove that the stability and reliability of Hanwha Life’s digital service security have further advanced,” and added, “Hanwha Life will continue to do its best to protect customers’ valuable information.”
