Sejong Hub Center New Construction Project
Logistics Manager for Daiso Stores in Central Region
Comprehensive Supply of Logistics Automation Solutions
Doosan Logistics Solution (DLS) has successfully secured the largest new construction project for a Daiso logistics center.
DLS announced on the 17th that it recently won the contract for the new construction project of the Daiso Sejong Hub Center, following the Daiso Yangju Hub Center two years ago.
The Sejong Hub Center, to be newly built in the Sejong Smart Green Industrial Complex, will have a total floor area of 144,960㎡ (approximately 43,850 pyeong), with one basement floor and four above-ground floors, making it the largest Daiso logistics center in South Korea. It will handle logistics for Daiso stores in the central region.
DLS will provide an integrated logistics automation solution, including design and engineering consulting, state-of-the-art automated equipment, warehouse management system (WMS) and warehouse control system (WCS) construction, as well as future maintenance. The project is scheduled for completion in 2026.
The Sejong Hub Center will feature advanced products and technologies such as ▲ OSR shuttles from Knapp, the global leader in shuttle storage systems ▲ GTP (Goods to Person) system ▲ Voimer’s cross belt sorter ▲ and DLS’s self-designed WMS and WCS.

By applying 198 OSR shuttles that transport goods at a global top speed of 5 m/s, the center can process and store up to 76,000 boxes. The shuttles can move items weighing up to 50 kg, and precise shuttle software is implemented to arrange boxes considering the order sequence.
DLS plans to enhance picking efficiency and worker convenience by applying the GTP system, which automatically delivers goods from the shuttle to the operator, to the OSR shuttles. A conveyor-based cross belt sorter, which increases processing volume by about 30%, will be installed to rapidly sort products according to delivery destinations.
Kim Deok-hyun, CEO of DLS, said, "We were able to secure consecutive orders by gaining trust and recognition of our expertise from existing customers. Going forward, we will further strengthen our competitiveness in securing orders by expanding and actively nurturing specialized personnel related to shuttle systems and AMRs."
