Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, is focusing on revitalizing the local economy this year through corporate investment attraction, centered on the newly established Strategic Business Division created through organizational restructuring.

According to Sancheong-gun on the 17th, a strategic organizational restructuring was carried out this year to strengthen large-scale investment projects, corporate attraction and support, and population policies.

In particular, this organizational restructuring established the Strategic Business Division, which includes four departments: Investment Attraction, Population Policy, Corporate Support, and Cable Car. These departments are accelerating efforts to revitalize the local economy and respond to the crisis of population decline.

Through this, the plan is to lead local economic growth by promoting external investments such as attracting large-scale investment projects in the tourism sector and major corporations. Additionally, by establishing a close cooperative system with related organizations, they will actively engage in strategic negotiations with investment companies and also aggressively pursue investment attraction for the Oriental Medicine Anti-Aging Industrial Complex.

The Population Policy Department promotes ▲local extinction response funds and youth affairs ▲discovering and implementing population increase policies ▲supporting youth associations in towns and townships ▲promoting the San-en Cheong Youth Base Camp project ▲supporting childbirth encouragement.

The policy is to implement fund projects tailored to local extinction response that residents can directly feel. In particular, to respond to population decline and the crisis of population extinction, support policies such as improving residential environments for youth will be strengthened to lay the foundation for sustainable regional development.
