Busanhaemaru School Donates 1.87 Million KRW in Support Funds for Vulnerable Groups in Jeonggwan-eup, Gijang-gun

Busan Gijang-gun Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center (Eupjang Song Young-jong) recently announced on the 16th that Busan Haemaru School (Principal Jeong Jin-young) donated funds to help neighbors in need.

On the 12th, students from the Youth Bizcool and High School Credit System programs at Busan Haemaru School, along with the Parent Association, united with one heart to donate 1.87 million won to Jeonggwan-eup to support vulnerable groups in the community.


Busan Haemaru School was selected by the Industrial Promotion Agency as a Youth Bizcool operating school and has been running startup clubs called Bling Bling, Ggomjirak Sabujak, and Coffee Workshop. This donation was raised through profits earned by the startup clubs from planning, producing, and selling products, profits collected by first-year students of the High School Credit System through a flea market, and contributions from the Parent Association.


Principal Jeong Jin-young said, “The students have gained valuable experience practicing sharing within the local community,” and added, “I hope the sincerity gathered by students and parents will be well delivered to the vulnerable groups in need.”


Jeonggwan-eup Mayor Song Young-jong expressed gratitude, saying, “We thank Busan Haemaru School for participating in spreading the culture of sharing,” and stated, “The donated funds will be used well as a special project budget of the Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council to improve the welfare of vulnerable groups in the area.”
