A received free parking benefits from July 2018 to November 13 of last year. It was confirmed that council member B registered her own vehicle through council staff and asked to register A’s vehicle together. According to the 'Regulations on the Management of the Government Building Attached Parking Lot,' parking registration is only possible when the district mayor deems it necessary. While district council members are exempt from parking fees, staff and security officers are not. Therefore, staff and security officers must pay 6,000 KRW per day for parking. Some have raised suspicions that council member B double-registered her son's vehicle because, due to the vehicle 5-day rotation system, she could no longer use her own vehicle, which was already eligible for free parking, every day.
