The seminar, held at the Samsung C&T Experience Innovation Academy in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, was attended by over 60 turf managers from 30 locations, including golf courses consulted by the Turf Environment Research Institute and stadiums for the Korean professional soccer K League 1 and 2 matches.

Through this event, the Turf Environment Research Institute delivered lectures on turf management suitable for the era of abnormal climate and strategies for dealing with changed pests due to global tropicalization. In addition, in-depth discussions were held on issues faced by on-site turf managers.

Kim Kyung-deok, head of the Turf Environment Research Institute, stated, "Due to rapid climate change, turf management cannot be done using previous methods. By flexibly operating fertilization, chemical application plans, forecasting, and irrigation based on accumulated data, high-quality turf can be maintained."

Established in 1993 as Korea's first specialized turf research institute, the Turf Environment Research Institute supports the management of premium courses such as Anyang CC and Gapyeong Benest GC, operated by Samsung C&T. It also provides turf consulting for over 40 golf courses and 25 stadiums in K League 1 and 2.
